James Batchelor is a UK journalist and future multi-millionaire author.
By day, he is Editor-in-Chief at GamesIndustry.biz, a trade publication for (you guessed it) the video games industry, and has written for business publications in this sector since 2006.
By night (which is to say an hour or so per evening), he is a creator of worlds, a puppeteer of characters, a teller of tales… Basically he writes the books he wants to read because they don’t exist yet.
A former member of Chelmsford writing group Writebulb, James edited and contributed to the club’s various charity anthologies.
Born and raised in Essex, he has somehow survived the county’s stereotypes, often mistakenly labelled as ‘northern’ or ‘posh’.
He refuses to admit he prefers e-books to paperbacks.
